Monsignor Michael Heintz

Msgr. Michael Heintz, PhD, is Associate Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Mount St Mary's Seminary, Emmitsburg, MD, where he also serves as spiritual director. A priest of the Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend, he had previously served for over a decade at the University of Notre Dame, where for six years he directed the Master of Divinity Program. He was rector and pastor of St Matthew Cathedral, South Bend, from 2003-2016. He is a member of the North American Patristic Society, the Society for Catholic Liturgy, and the Academy of Catholic Theology.
