Julie Davis and her husband live in Dallas, Texas, and have worked together at their graphic design firm for 31 years.
They also have a small business doing movie discussion groups with senior communities, Talking Movies. They have two grown daughters.
Julie converted to Catholicism in 2000 and began blogging at Happy Catholic in 2004. That precipitated her entry into both the Catholic internet world and social media, where she has been very involved.
Her book Happy Catholic was published in April 2011, and Lord, Open My Heart was published in December 2011. She self-published Seeking Jesus in Everyday Life in 2017.
