Catherine M. Odell is a writer and editor whose primary professional experience has been in the religious press.

A native of South Bend, Indiana, Odell was born, grew up and was educated in the shadow of Notre Dame’s “Golden Dome.”

A freelance journalist, curriculum writer and editor, she is also the author of three books for children and nine trade books for adults, including Our Sunday Visitor’s Those Who Saw Her: Apparitions of MaryFaustina: Apostle of Divine MercySolanus Casey: The Story of Father Solanus and Praying the Rosary for Intercession. Odell has also enjoyed teaching on the elementary and junior high levels.

She is married, has two grown children and is a committed organic gardener, baker, walker and reader.
